The Norwegian energy company Statkraft announce that they have developed so-called gamma capturers that will capture the energy generated when stars explode.

Else, I guess the documentation would be far better covered, and the clip itself is short enough to make one question if this really IS real.
Gamma rays are indeed a nasty powerful thing, but capturing gammarays is not something “you just can do”. And if this was NOT a hoak, I would like to know how the transmit these gammarays from these satellites down to earth. By a huge blast, or through the ozon layer that reflects most of the gammarays from the sun ?
It is true though, that if Alpha Centauri (our neighbour star) suddenly exploded, Earth would be quite fried… But gammarays from stars millions of sunyears away, gee - how is it so that the satellite can capture them, and not earth ? The ozonlayer reflects 100% ? Well then again HOW do you emmit them down to earth!?
